Form A DIN43650A PWM 11% to 89% energy saving electrical DIN connector with pulse width modulating circuit provides energy savings and extends the life expectancy of the solenoid valve or coaxial valve coil. The PWM connector receives a nominal voltage 12 volt to 48 volt DC in order to fully energise the valve solenoid allowing the solenoid valve coil to achieve the full inrush current and energy required to change the solenoid valve state. Then after a timed period of approximately 100 milliseconds the PWM circuit reduces the full voltage to a reliable holding power which needs to be adjusted to the holding power criteria of the solenoid valve coil thus achieving considerable energy saving and reducing coil heat rise which in turn extends solenoid coil life.
The power reduction is accomplished through pulses with adjustable modulation via relocation of the electrical jumpers for changes in the output voltage.
