The PU320 can be assembled into a manifold with single inlet multiple outlets for multiple pneumatic cylinder or actuator control systems and control panels.
If you would like your solenoid valve manifold system supplied assembled just tick and order the mounting kit option and send us a message to assemble when checking out and we will be happy to assemble your manifold system for you at no additional charge.
Note: 2 valves require 1 assembly kit, 3 valve 2 kits, 4 valves 3 kits, etc.

The PU30002-12vdc is a very popular solenoid control valve for the head light vacuum system for Lotus Elan Sprint 1971, 1972 and 1973 and Lotus Elan +2 and +2S 130/5 speed, piped up A to headlight and R to manifold vacuum.

Hi, I have now received the valve I ordered (very impressed by the delivery speed) , but I think it will not work for me. I will order again (PU320, 3/2 12v, 1/4"BSP, normally closed) and return the one that I have. Apologies for the length of the email. Following a telephone conversation with one of your colleagues I ordered a PU300 3/2 12v, ¼” BSP normally open valve for my Lotus Elan +2. I think this may be incorrect and that I should have purchased a normally closed type. I think the confusion has been caused because there are two variations of the vacuum system (detailed description below), depending on the age of the vehicle. The changeover point was in 1968/69 depending on where the car was being sold to. I believe the Elan and the Elan +2 share the same components for headlamp operation. Lotus Elan +2 built 1967 - 1969 Lotus Elan +2S [also designated +2S 130 & +2S 130/5 ] built 1968 ? – 1974 All cars have a vacuum system that operates the pop up headlamps. The engine charges a reservoir built into the front of the chassis via a one way valve. A pull switch containing a valve arrangement operates the headlamp position. The headlamp position is changed by a pod (actuator) containing a rubber diaphragm and lever. The two variants (+2 or +2S) have a different arrangement for the headlamp vacuum system, the +2*S* has a *“failsafe system”* , in which the headlamps will pop up (spring assisted) if the vacuum system leaks or fails. The vacuum holds the headlamps in the closed position, I would assume that this requires a normally open valve. This system has a single headlamp actuator pod. *The earlier +2 (mine is one of these) uses vacuum to lift the headlamps against spring pressure. If the system fails/leaks the headlamps will close.* *The 2 position pull switch prevents vacuum flow in the off position and allows air to flow to the pod to lower the headlamp (spring assisted).* * The “on” position connects the vacuum reservoir to the headlamp pod, raising the headlamp. I think this should require a normally closed valve. *This system has 2 actuator pods, one under each headlamp. I have a further question regarding wiring. Can you confirm the wiring for 12v, -ve earth ? Is it just terminals 1 + 2 & does polarity matter ? regards Adrian
