The BFF-D ductile iron float valve requires a pilot sub valve (ball float) that controls the main function of the valve that can be remotely piped and connected via a 1/2 BSP female threaded adaptor on the valve body.
When the ball float drops and opens it releases the back pressure the main BFF valve which then opens to refill the tank, when the level rises the ball float lifts and generates back pressure to close the main valve and water flow stops.
