Water leak detection system with Controller and 1/2 BSP Isolating WRAS Ball Valve ABVMSA.
Will detect the slightest water leak, then close the valve and sound an alarm. Easy to install where water leak is a concern, simply install ball valve and place controller with brass contacts onto floor at lowest point for total piece of mind 24/7.
Controller:
Control buttons: Power ON/OFF, Valve Open and Valve Closed.
Led indication for power and valve position.
Includes low battery warning alarm. If batteries not changed within 8 hours will close the valve. (Supplied with 2x Varta 1.5v LR6 AA Alkaline Long Life batteries that according to Varta Technical will last several years running 0.015milliamp monitoring).

Instructions:
Install valve where water leak is a concern
Install AA batteries (If required) into controller (will need small Phillips H1 screwdriver) + connect cables
Place controller brass contacts on floor at lowest point
Press power ON/OFF button, power ON LED (1) and Valve Closed LED (3) will light up.
Press Valve Open (middle) button, LED (2) Green will flash whilst the valve is opening.
LED’s 1+2+3 will flash when valve open and system in leak detecting mode.
Destruction Test.
On the 26th November 2020 at around 10.40am we connected an ABVM 1/2 BSP dry mini ball valve with 9-24vACDC failsafe closed actuator to our SVDT22 (digital cycle timer), and set this for 1 cycle every 60 seconds (30 sec power ON Open then 30 Sec power off to Close) 24/7 all day all night non-stop. (except holidays)
As of 31st May 2023 the valve has opened and closed, 1,311,280 times and still opening and closing perfectly.
