Permanent Magnets for Solenoid Valve Commissioning & Manual Override

Discover our range of high-performance permanent magnets designed for solenoid valve commissioning, testing, and manual override operations. Ideal for scenarios where electrical power is unavailable or when a manual operation is preferred, these magnets offer a reliable and reusable solution for various applications.

Why Use Permanent Magnets for Solenoid Valves?

Permanent magnets serve as an effective alternative to electromagnetic coils in solenoid valves. They are particularly useful during commissioning and testing phases, allowing for manual operation without the need for electrical power. Additionally, they function as a manual override system, ensuring continued operation during power outages or coil failures.

How to Use the Solenoid Valve Operating Magnet

Ensure the electrical power is switched off.

Remove the electrically operated coil from the solenoid valve.

Place the solenoid magnet (widest diameter at the bottom) fully over the valve stem.

Listen for a "click," indicating the valve is in the open position.

If no click is heard, invert the magnet and repeat the process.

After manual operation, replace the electrically operated coil for normal operation.

Safety Precautions

Keep magnets away from heart pacemakers and magnetically stored data (e.g., computer discs, credit cards) to prevent data corruption or equipment damage.

Always ensure electrical power is switched off before removing the solenoid coil.

Store magnets in their protective containers to avoid attracting unwanted metallic objects.
