CS Fluid Power Solenoid Armature Tube & Plunger Assemblies
Replacement CS Fluid Power solenoid armature tubes and plungers for 2/2 way normally closed solenoid valves, available in 13mm, 14mm ATEX and 16mm tube sizes with brass or stainless steel tube options.
These assemblies are used across the CS Fluid Power AD, ADS, PA, SAP and SAPS solenoid valve ranges and are compatible with WPG1 12W, WPG2 18W, WPA3C 22W and Nass Magnet ATEX coils, depending on the selected tube.
Correct tube, plunger and seal selection is important because the components vary according to valve size, construction, coil system and operating principle.

14mm Stainless Steel ATEX Armature Tube
The 14mm stainless steel armature tube is designed to accept the Nass Magnet ATEX Ex m II T4 coil system.

ATEX Coil Performance Note
The 14mm Nass Magnet ATEX arrangement can be used across the compatible valve range, but the available pressure capability depends upon the magnetic power of the coil.
The 10.1W ATEX coil provides approximately the same valve pressure capability as the WPG1 12W system, but will provide a lower pressure capability than the more powerful WPG2 18W or WPA3C 22W systems.
This is an important point to retain — especially for customers converting an existing valve to ATEX operation.
Shading Ring Options
Armature assemblies are available with different shading ring configurations according to the electrical supply and process medium.
Copper Shading Ring
Standard configuration for general-purpose applications.
Silver Shading Ring
Suitable for AC or DC operation where silver is compatible with the process medium.
No Shading Ring
DC operation only.
The no-shading-ring option may be required for media where copper or silver contamination or chemical compatibility is unsuitable, including:

Material compatibility must be confirmed for the actual process medium before selection.
Plunger Seal Selection
The correct plunger seal should be selected according to the valve, operating temperature and process medium.
Available seal materials include options such as:

Not every seal material is necessarily available or appropriate for every tube and plunger combination, so the valve model and application should be checked before ordering.
