Pressure Vacuum Relief Valve (PVRV) – Air Vent & Vacuum Breaker – Z-Tide Industrial ATR Series
The Z-Tide Industrial ATR Series is a premium pressure vacuum relief valve (PVRV) designed to automatically release trapped air from water pipelines while preventing damaging vacuum conditions during system draining or pressure loss. Combining automatic air venting and vacuum breaking in one compact assembly, the ATR Series improves system efficiency, reduces pipeline noise, eliminates air pockets and protects pipework against collapse caused by negative pressure. Available in ductile iron or 304 stainless steel with threaded BSP connections from ½" to 2", the ATR Series is ideally suited to water distribution, pumping stations, industrial process systems and irrigation networks.

Manufacturing quality
Manufactured using heavy-duty ductile iron or 304 stainless steel bodies with precision-machined stainless steel internal components, the Z-Tide Industrial ATR Series has been engineered for reliable long-term operation in demanding water systems. The float-operated mechanism automatically expels trapped air during normal operation, reducing flow restrictions, pipeline noise and hydraulic inefficiency. During draining or sudden pressure loss, the valve immediately admits atmospheric air to prevent damaging vacuum conditions that can collapse pipelines or interfere with system performance. For optimum operation the ATR Series should be installed vertically at the highest point of the pipeline, with an isolation valve fitted below the unit to simplify future inspection and maintenance.
