Pressure Sustaining Valves
Pressure sustaining valves, also known as back pressure valves (BPVs), automatically maintain a minimum upstream pressure regardless of downstream demand or fluctuations in flow. They protect pumps, reservoirs and distribution systems by ensuring adequate system pressure is maintained before allowing flow downstream. Our range includes direct acting and pilot operated pressure sustaining valves in stainless steel and ductile iron, available with BSP threaded and flanged connections for water distribution, industrial process control and municipal pipeline applications. Adjustable pressure settings and pressure gauge options provide accurate back pressure regulation across a wide range of operating conditions. Pressure sustaining valves are commonly installed on pump discharge lines, filtration systems and distribution networks to prevent loss of upstream pressure, improve system stability and protect critical equipment from low-pressure conditions. Product Range ✓ Threaded Pressure Sustaining Valves Compact stainless steel back pressure valves for industrial equipment and smaller pipework. ✓ Flanged Pressure Sustaining Valves High-capacity pilot operated valves for water authorities, treatment plants and large pipeline systems. ✓ Pilot Operated Back Pressure Valves Accurate pressure regulation for demanding industrial and municipal applications with stable upstream pressure control. Typical Applications Pump discharge protection Water distribution networks Reservoir pressure control Water treatment plants Filtration systems Booster pump stations Irrigation systems Industrial process control Municipal pipelines Fire protection systems Chemical processing OEM water equipment
