Description

40 Bar High Pressure Stainless Solenoid Valve – SASH

The CS Fluid Power SASH Series is a heavy-duty 2/2 way normally closed high-pressure stainless steel solenoid valve designed for air, water, steam, light oils and compatible industrial process fluids.

Manufactured with a 316 stainless steel valve body, stainless steel internals and PTFE seals, the SASH provides reliable pressure-assisted shut-off control at pressures up to 40 Bar / 600 PSI. Available from 3/8" to 2" BSP, the complete range is rated to 40 Bar for air and water and 12 Bar for steam.

The servo-assisted piston design requires a minimum 0.5 Bar differential pressure and provides large flow capacities up to 686.4 L/min, making the SASH particularly suitable for high-pressure industrial systems requiring considerably greater flow than a conventional direct-acting valve.

Function: 2/2 way normally closed

Normal Position: Closed when de-energised

Energised Position: Open

Failsafe Function: Closed on power loss

Minimum Differential Pressure: 0.5 Bar

Maximum Air / Water Pressure: 40 Bar / 600 PSI

Maximum Steam Pressure: 12 Bar

The SASH is pressure assisted and therefore requires at least 0.5 Bar differential pressure across the valve for correct operation.

Why Choose the SASH Series?

The SASH is the higher-pressure version of the SAS stainless steel range, increasing the maximum air and water working pressure from 20 Bar to 40 Bar while retaining the 316 stainless steel body, PTFE sealing and large flow paths.

The combination of 15–50mm orifices and water flow capacities from 64.4 to 686.4 L/min provides considerably greater flow than would normally be practical from a compact direct-acting high-pressure solenoid valve.

For steam applications, the SASH is rated to 12 Bar with media temperatures up to +180°C, while air and water applications can operate up to 40 Bar.
