1" 12 Bar Stainless Solenoid Valve – SHAKO SPU220A-08H
The SHAKO SPU220A-08H is a high-flow, high-pressure 1" 2/2 way normally closed zero-rated assisted-lift solenoid valve manufactured from corrosion-resistant 316 stainless steel.
Designed for compressed air, water, vacuum, light oils and compatible aggressive or high-purity process fluids, the SPU220A-08H combines zero-rated operation with increased pressure capability up to 12 Bar.
The higher-power 18.5W Class H solenoid operator provides increased magnetic force, allowing operation from zero positive pressure through to 12 Bar with either AC or DC power.
A large 25mm orifice provides approximately 183 L/min water flow at 1 Bar pressure differential. FKM (Viton) seals are fitted as standard, with NBR, EPDM and HNBR alternatives available. For AdBlue / DEF applications, select the EPDM seal configuration.

The SPU220A-08H is normally closed when electrically de-energised. Applying electrical power energises the solenoid operator and opens the valve.
Its assisted-lift construction combines direct mechanical lifting with diaphragm assistance, allowing operation from zero positive pressure without requiring the minimum differential pressure normally associated with conventional pilot-operated diaphragm valves.
The higher-power 18.5W operator provides increased magnetic force and extends maximum positive operating pressure to 12 Bar with either AC or DC power.

For AdBlue / DEF applications, select the EPDM seal configuration rather than the standard FKM version.

The large 25mm assisted-lift diaphragm provides particularly high flow capacity while maintaining zero-rated operation.
Unlike conventional pilot-operated diaphragm valves, the SPU220A-08H does not require a positive inlet-to-outlet differential pressure to initiate operation.
The combination of a 25mm orifice, approximately 183 L/min water flow and 12 Bar AC/DC pressure capability makes the SPU220A-08H particularly useful where high flow and a wide operating pressure range are required.

High Flow 12 Bar Zero-Rated Design
The SHAKO SPU220A-08H combines corrosion-resistant 316 stainless steel construction with a large 25mm zero-rated assisted-lift diaphragm and higher-power 18.5W solenoid operator.
Its 25mm orifice provides approximately 183 L/min water flow at 1 Bar pressure differential while retaining operation from zero positive pressure through to a maximum positive pressure of 12 Bar.
The principal difference between the SPU220A-08H and standard SPU220A-08 is the higher-power operator. The 18.5W configuration increases maximum positive operating pressure from 7 Bar AC / 5 Bar DC to 12 Bar with either AC or DC power.
This combination of zero-rated operation, very high flow capacity, 316 stainless steel construction and increased pressure capability makes the SPU220A-08H particularly useful for demanding industrial fluid-control applications.
For AdBlue / DEF service, specify EPDM seals. For RO and demineralised water, alternative shading-ring configurations are available where copper contact with the process media is undesirable.
