Description
Vacuum Filter Regulator Unit – Shako UVFR
The Shako UVFR is a compact vacuum filter regulator combining vacuum pressure regulation and filtration in a single unit. Designed for industrial vacuum and pneumatic systems, it provides accurate vacuum adjustment while removing particulate contamination from the air supply.
Available with 1/4", 3/8" or 1/2" ports, the UVFR uses a piston regulator design and is suitable for vacuum pressures from -100 kPa to -1.3 kPa (-1.0 to -0.013 Bar). Shako specifies a maximum flow rate of 200 L/min.

The regulator allows vacuum pressure to be reduced and accurately adjusted to suit the downstream equipment.
It is designed to regulate an existing vacuum supply and is not intended to increase the vacuum level generated by the vacuum pump. Shako also notes that some air suction during pressure adjustment is normal.

Shako specifically warns that a vacuum pressure gauge must be used; fitting an unsuitable pressure gauge can damage the instrument.
