Pneumatic Vacuum Generator – Shako VV Series
The Shako VV Series is a compact pneumatic Venturi vacuum generator designed to produce vacuum directly from a compressed-air supply without requiring an electrical vacuum pump.
Available in 1/8", 1/4" and 3/8" port sizes, the VV Series provides vacuum levels up to -91.8 kPa and is ideal for pick-and-place systems, vacuum gripping, robotic handling, packaging machinery and industrial automation.

Working Media: Clean Compressed Air
Compressed air passes through an internal nozzle at high velocity, creating a pressure drop which generates vacuum at the suction port.
This provides a simple vacuum source with no electric motor or mechanical vacuum pump required.

The three nozzle sizes allow the vacuum generator to be selected according to the required vacuum flow and available compressed-air capacity.
High Vacuum Performance
Maximum Vacuum: -91.8 kPa
The Shako performance curves show vacuum increasing with supply pressure, with the maximum vacuum level reached around the upper end of the normal operating supply range.
Separate characteristic curves are provided for vacuum pressure, maximum suction flow and vacuum performance, allowing the appropriate VV model to be selected for the application.

The aluminium body provides a compact and durable vacuum generator suitable for installation directly onto industrial machinery and automation equipment. Shako describes the VV Series as durable and long-life, excluding the exhaust silencer.
Compact Inline Design
The VV Series combines the compressed-air inlet, vacuum port and exhaust silencer within a compact assembly.
This makes it particularly useful for mounting close to vacuum suction cups or gripping equipment, reducing unnecessary vacuum pipework between the generator and point of use.
