Water Leak Detection System with Automatic Shut-Off Valve (BMS Compatible)

The WLDS1V water leak detection system is a mains powered 240V leak detection controller designed to detect water leaks and automatically shut off the water supply to prevent damage in buildings, plant rooms and critical installations.

When water is detected by the leak detection cable or spot probe, the control unit immediately closes the motorised shut-off valve and triggers the alarm.

Ideal for BMS integration, plant rooms, commercial buildings, data centres, apartments and technical installations.

System Operation
→ Leak detection cable or spot probe detects water
→ Control panel activates audible alarm
→ Motorised valve automatically closes to isolate water supply
→ Volt-free contact sends alarm signal to BMS system

System Components
The system can include:
→ Leak detection cable – available in 2m, 5m, 10m, 15m or 20m lengths
→ Interconnecting signal cable – connects the sensor cable to the control panel
→ Spot leak probe with pre-wired 3m cable
→ Automatic shut-off ball valve (½" or ¾")

Detection cables can be extended up to 100m total length.
Recommended installation: 1 floor clip per metre of detection cable.

Valve Control

→ Prevents electrolysis and probe polarisation
→ Adjustable sensitivity for high or low leak detection

Alarm Operation
→ Alarm activates when water contacts detection cable
→ Audible alarm and flashing LED indicate active leak
→ Alarm can be muted while leak condition remains active
→ Alarm automatically resets once cable dries and system returns to normal
