Description
WRAS Brass Compression Male Stud 15mm–28mm BSP
The WRAS approved brass compression male stud provides a simple and reliable transition from standard copper tube to a male BSP threaded connection.
Designed for use with copper tube to BS EN 1057, the fitting incorporates a compression nut and olive to create a secure mechanical joint without soldering, brazing or other hot work.
Simply insert the correctly sized copper tube and tighten the compression nut to form the joint. The opposite end provides a male BSP thread for connection to valves, solenoid valves, water controls and other compatible threaded equipment.
Manufactured to EN 1254-2 and covered by WRAS Approval 2110353, these fittings are particularly suitable for potable water and general water installations where an approved compression-to-thread adaptor is required.

Simple Compression Installation
Installation requires no soldering or brazing.
The compression nut and olive fit directly onto the corresponding copper tube size. Tightening the nut compresses the olive around the tube to create the mechanical seal.
This makes the fitting particularly useful where hot work is undesirable or impractical.
