Shako PU225S Steam Solenoid Valve Piston & Seal Repair Kit
Genuine Shako PU225S piston and seal repair kit for servicing PU225S Series 2/2 way normally closed steam solenoid valves.
The kit contains the principal internal wearing components of the valve, including the piston and sealing rings, PTFE-seated plunger and body O-rings, allowing the valve internals to be serviced without replacing the complete solenoid valve.
Designed specifically for the Shako PU225S steam valve range and available in different kits according to valve port size.

PU225S Steam Valve Compatibility
These repair kits are designed for the Shako PU225S Series of pressure-assisted steam solenoid valves.
They are intended to replace the internal piston and sealing components where an existing valve requires servicing due to normal wear, contamination or deterioration of the sealing components.
The correct kit must be selected according to the valve port size.
PTFE Plunger Seal
The replacement plunger incorporates a PTFE sealing element, providing the temperature resistance required for the PU225S steam valve design.
Unlike standard general-purpose elastomer-seated solenoid valve plungers, the PU225S replacement assembly is specifically intended for the higher-temperature operating conditions associated with steam service.
Piston Assembly
The PU225S is a piston-operated solenoid valve, rather than the conventional flexible diaphragm construction used in many general-purpose pilot-operated valves.
The repair kit therefore includes the replacement piston and piston sealing ring set required to restore the main internal sealing components.
When to Replace the Repair Kit
Replacement of the piston and seal kit may be appropriate where the PU225S valve experiences:
