IP68 Submersible Solenoid Valve Coil 11630BP

The 11630BP IP68 submersible solenoid valve coil is a fully encapsulated industrial coil designed for solenoid valve installations exposed to water, washdown conditions and applications requiring protection during immersion.

Based on the compact 11630 coil format, the 11630BP features a 13mm internal bore, Class H insulation and polyurethane encapsulated construction, together with a factory-fitted 3 metre electrical cable.

The IP68 construction provides protection for immersion to a specified depth of up to 2 metres, making this coil particularly useful where a conventional IP65 DIN connector arrangement does not provide sufficient environmental protection.

11630BP vs Standard 11630 Coil

The 11630BP provides a useful alternative to the standard 11630 DIN Form A coil where substantially greater environmental protection is required.
Both use a similar compact 29.5mm body format, but the 11630BP incorporates polyurethane encapsulation and a permanently attached cable rather than relying upon a removable DIN electrical connector.
This makes the 11630BP particularly suitable for wet, exposed and submersible valve installations.

Suitability for a particular fluid, pressure or temperature depends upon the complete solenoid valve assembly rather than the coil alone.

Important Installation Information
Always confirm the 13mm armature bore, supply voltage, AC/DC operation and electrical requirements before replacing an existing solenoid coil.
The cable termination and any external electrical connections must also be installed appropriately for the required environmental protection.
Never energise a solenoid coil unless correctly installed onto a compatible solenoid valve armature tube.
