16–28mm Refrigerant Solder Tube Solenoid Valve – RSG 216-DN18-LR
The RSG 216-DN18-LR is a high-flow 2/2 way refrigerant solenoid valve with integral copper solder tubes, designed for commercial and industrial refrigeration, heat pump and cooling systems.
Available with 16mm, 22mm, 28mm, 5/8", 7/8" or 1⅛" OD copper tube connections, the valve combines an 18mm orifice with Kv flow capacity from 4.5 to 6.2 m³/h.
The pressure-assisted piston operates from 0.1 to 30 Bar, with normally closed operation as standard and a normally open version available.

The copper tubes are furnace soldered into the brass valve body using silver solder at approximately 680–700°C.
This provides a robust factory joint between the copper connection tubes and brass body, ready for installation into refrigeration pipework.

The actual Kv depends upon the selected tube connection and is based on water with a pressure differential of 1 Bar.
This provides the DN18-LR with considerably greater flow capacity than the smaller DN5 and DN12 solder-tube refrigerant valves.

Normally Open Option
The standard RSG 216-DN18-LR is normally closed, stopping refrigerant flow when electrical power is removed.
