Refrigerant Gas Solenoid Valve DN12 UNF 0–30 Bar – RSG 216-DN12-U
The RSG 216-DN12-U is a compact 2/2 way pilot-operated piston solenoid valve specifically designed for refrigeration, cooling and industrial fluid systems. It combines a DN12 flow path with male UNF connections for tube fittings using an O-ring seal.
The valve is normally closed as standard with a normally open version available and operates from a very low 0.05 Bar differential pressure up to 30 Bar. The manufacturer also specifies a 180 Bar burst pressure, making the design particularly suited to demanding refrigeration systems.

The 216-DN12-U uses male UNF threads specifically designed for tube connections with O-ring sealing.

The manufacturer's Kv values are based on water flow with a 1 Bar pressure drop across the valve.

PriWO Refrigeration Valve Design
The RSG PriWO refrigeration range uses a distinctive movable pole-core design with a very short pilot stroke. This reduces the magnetic force required to open the valve and allows the use of a compact 6 Watt DC solenoid coil.
The valve also uses a cartridge-style internal assembly and a closed guide-tube system. RSG states that this construction can achieve very low external leakage down to 10⁻⁸ mbar·l/s in suitable configurations.
