1/4"–1/2" BSP Refrigerant Solenoid Valve – RSG 216-DN12-G
The RSG 216-DN12-G is a 2/2 way brass refrigerant solenoid valve with BSPP threaded connections, designed for refrigeration, heat pump and industrial cooling systems requiring a compact threaded valve with high flow capacity.
Available in 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" BSPP, the valve uses a pressure-assisted piston with a 12mm orifice, providing Kv flow from 1.2 to 2.4 m³/h and operation from only 0.05 Bar differential pressure up to 30 Bar.
Normally closed operation is standard, with a normally open version available.

The pressure-assisted piston design combines a large flow path with low differential-pressure operation, while allowing the valve to use the compact System 10/30 solenoid operator.

The threaded G connections provide a convenient alternative to the solder-tube, UNF O-ring and UNF flare versions available within the RSG 216 refrigerant valve family.

Normally Open Option
The standard RSG 216-DN12-G is normally closed, shutting off refrigerant flow when electrical power is removed.
A normally open version is also available for systems requiring refrigerant flow in the de-energised condition.
Mounting Provision
The valve incorporates M4 mounting holes, allowing the body to be independently secured within refrigeration equipment or OEM machinery.
This can help reduce mechanical loading on the threaded connections and adjoining pipework.
