1/4 inch WRAS latching / bi-stable water solenoid valve – RPE 3115BB
A low-power, WRAS approved latching solenoid valve designed for potable water applications where energy efficiency is essential. The RPE 3115BB uses short pulse signals to open and close, requiring no continuous power to maintain position, making it ideal for battery-powered and smart water systems.

Operating principle
A short low-power pulse (approximately 15 ms) energises the internal magnet to open the valve and hold it open without continuous power.
A short reverse-polarity pulse (approximately 15 ms) cancels the magnetic field, closing the valve.
This process is repeated for each open and close cycle, significantly reducing overall power consumption.
