1¼" Stainless Steel Motorised Ball Valve – Failsafe Open 9–24V
The Connexion ABV12S/9AR-NO-E2 is a 1¼" BSP stainless steel motorised ball valve featuring a normally open failsafe actuator, designed for automatic water flow control and applications requiring the valve to return to its open position following electrical power failure.
Combining a full-bore 304 stainless steel ball valve with a compact electric actuator, this clearance model offers low-power operation, visual position indication and E2 volt-free open and closed position feedback.
Suitable for water treatment, industrial water systems, automated pipework, process control and installations where continued water flow is required during loss of electrical power.

Normally Open Failsafe Operation
The actuator uses a two-wire electrical control system with an internal reserve power supply.
Power ON → Valve closes.
Power OFF → Valve opens automatically using stored reserve power.
This normally open failsafe arrangement is particularly useful for water systems where maintaining flow during a power interruption is preferable to leaving the valve closed.
The actuator requires an initial 30-second power-on period to charge its reserve power system. Subsequent switching requires a minimum 10-second interval.
