17.3mm Bore Industrial Solenoid Valve Coil – M17
The M17 is a high-power industrial solenoid valve coil featuring a 17.3mm armature bore with 10mm top plate, Class H insulation and continuous-duty operation.
Designed for compatible industrial solenoid valves requiring increased magnetic force, this coil is used with BFE multifunctional solenoid valves for increased working pressures and MKS steam solenoid valves.
Available in 24V DC, 110V AC and 230V AC versions, the M17 provides 19W DC power or 35VA AC inrush power and is suitable for continuous-duty industrial valve applications.

Class H Continuous Duty
The M17 uses Class H winding insulation rated to 180°C and is designed for 100% continuous-duty operation.
This higher insulation class provides increased winding thermal capability for demanding industrial valve applications.
The Class H 180°C rating applies to the coil insulation system and does not mean that the complete solenoid valve is suitable for a 180°C ambient or media temperature. The complete valve temperature rating depends upon its body, seals, armature and application.

Important Replacement Information
Physically similar solenoid coils are not necessarily electrically interchangeable.
Before replacing an existing coil, check the bore, top plate diameter, physical dimensions, voltage, frequency and power rating.
Never energise the coil unless correctly installed onto a compatible solenoid valve armature tube.
