The Z-Tide Industrial BFS-S Series is a heavy-duty flanged pilot-assisted pressure sustaining (back pressure) valve designed to automatically maintain a minimum upstream pressure in high-flow water and compatible fluid systems.
Manufactured in either 304 or 316 stainless steel, the BFS-S Series provides precise upstream pressure control, automatically modulating the main valve to maintain the selected minimum back pressure despite changes in downstream demand or flow. This makes it particularly suitable for protecting pumps, upstream equipment and process systems where a minimum supply pressure must be maintained.
Available from DN50 to DN1000 with PN16 flanges and optional ANSI 150 lb, JIS10K, JIS20K, PN10 or PN20 flange standards, the BFS-S is ideally suited to industrial water distribution, cooling circuits, water treatment, chemical processing, food and beverage production and other demanding process applications.

Manufactured using heavy-duty 304 or 316 stainless steel with precision-machined stainless steel internal components, the Z-Tide Industrial BFS-S Series has been engineered for demanding industrial environments where corrosion resistance, reliability and precise upstream pressure regulation are essential. Its pilot-assisted pressure sustaining controller continuously monitors upstream pressure and automatically adjusts the main valve to maintain the selected minimum back pressure, protecting pumps, upstream equipment and critical process systems regardless of downstream demand. The patented cylindrical piston design provides exceptionally high flow capacity while the externally mounted pressure gauge allows simple commissioning, adjustment and routine monitoring. The removable pilot controller further simplifies maintenance by allowing servicing without removing the main valve body from the pipeline.

Simply select the required body material (304 or 316 stainless steel), flange size, pressure sustaining range, seal material and flange standard before adding the valve to your basket. Alternative pressure ranges, flange standards, seal materials and custom sizes up to DN1400 (56") are available on request.
