Angle Seat Piston Valve Seal Kit – Normally Closed ASPV
Replacement seal and repair kit for normally closed ASPV pneumatic angle seat piston valves, containing the internal seals required to service the original valve assembly.
The kit includes virgin PTFE valve sealing components and replacement O-rings corresponding to the original ASPV valve drawing.
Available for normally closed ASPV angle seat valves from 3/8" to 2", allowing worn or damaged valve seals to be replaced without replacing the complete pneumatic angle seat valve.
These seal kits are intended for the original normally closed ASPV valve design, which is being discontinued following technical modifications to the valve design to improve flow and sealing performance.

This repair kit is specifically intended for the normally closed version of the original ASPV angle seat valve.
The correct kit should always be selected according to the valve port size.

Selecting the correct valve size is important because the internal sealing components vary according to the corresponding ASPV valve body and piston assembly.

The kit therefore provides the principal replacement sealing components required when servicing the original normally closed ASPV valve.
Virgin PTFE Sealing
The valve sealing components use virgin PTFE, selected for its low friction, temperature capability and broad chemical resistance.
PTFE is commonly suited to a wide variety of industrial fluids, but actual chemical compatibility depends upon the complete valve construction, fluid concentration, pressure and operating temperature.
The replacement kit should therefore be selected according to the original valve specification rather than using the PTFE material alone to determine media suitability.
Maintenance & Repair
Angle seat valves contain dynamic and static seals that can gradually wear through repeated operation, temperature cycling and exposure to the controlled media.
Replacing the internal seals can help address problems associated with worn sealing components, including:

Before dismantling the valve, the fluid and compressed-air supplies must be isolated and all internal pressure safely released.
Important – Original ASPV Valve Design
These seal kits are intended for the original ASPV normally closed angle seat piston valve design.
The original valve range is being discontinued following technical modifications to the valve design intended to provide improved flow and sealing.
For existing installations, check the valve model and size before ordering replacement seals.
Where identification is uncertain, the valve model, port size and preferably a photograph of the existing valve can be used to help establish the correct replacement kit.
Normally Closed Valves Only
This product is specifically for normally closed ASPV valves.
A normally closed angle seat valve remains closed in its unactuated state and uses pilot air pressure to actuate the piston mechanism.
Do not select this kit solely by valve port size where the existing valve is a different function or generation. Confirm that the valve is the compatible normally closed ASPV design before ordering.

Why Replace the Seals?
Where the stainless steel valve body and pneumatic actuator remain serviceable, replacing worn internal seals can be considerably more economical than replacing the complete angle seat valve.
A replacement seal kit also allows existing installations to be maintained without altering pipework or replacing an otherwise serviceable valve.
This is particularly useful for maintaining older ASPV valves already installed in industrial equipment.
