Description

Compact and durable emergency stop / Gas knock-off button housed in a thermoplastic enclosure with a red Ø 40 mm mushroom actuator.

Designed for machine panels, gas safety shut off systems, and process-control applications where fast and reliable emergency isolation is essential. The switch operates with snap-action contacts, featuring twist + pull release for safe manual reset.

Strike RED knob cut off electrical supply, rotating the knob clockwise resets the switch.

Includes normally closed and normally open 400 volts rated CE Switch.

Can be wired as:

1. strike to cut power (via normally closed circuit switches 1+2 - strike red knob will open circuit and stop power)
2. and / or strike to apply power (via Normally open circuit switches 3+4 - strike red knob will close circuit and apply power).

Conforms to IEC/EN60947-5-1.

KOB-1 Operation is by hand \PUSH\ on the Red mushroom button with Reset turn anti-clockwise.

KR-KOB-1 Operation by hand \PUSH\ on Red mushroom button with Reset KEY, unlock turn anti-clockwise. (2 Keys supplied, number 455).

KOB-S1 Operation by hand \PUSH\ on Red mushroom button behind shroud, Reset turn anti-clockwise.

Emergency stop button also known as EPO button Emergency Power Off button is designed for use in boiler rooms with gas valves or fire valves and other accessory equipment as an emergency button to instantly cut the power supply to isolate and render equipment safe and to sound an alarm. Activation is by manual hand pressure against the RED button.
