Kuhnway Queen MD15–MD50 Solenoid Valve Plunger Assembly
Replacement plunger assembly for Kuhnway Queen MD Series 2/2 way normally closed stainless steel solenoid valves, suitable for the MD15 through MD50 range.
The assembly consists of a KM-31 stainless steel plunger, SUS304 stainless steel return spring and a choice of EPDM or FKM/Viton plunger seal.
Designed as a replacement internal component for an existing Queen MD solenoid operator, the plunger assembly allows the moving armature components to be renewed without replacing the complete core tube assembly or solenoid valve.

The replacement plunger assembly fits the Queen MD Series from MD15 through MD50.
Plunger Assembly Includes
Each replacement assembly consists of:

✓ Selected EPDM or FKM/Viton plunger seal
✓ SUS304 stainless steel return spring
The existing core tube, coil retaining components and solenoid coil are retained when only the plunger assembly requires replacement.
Plunger Seal Options
EPDM
Available for applications using compatible water and aqueous media where EPDM is suitable.
FKM / Viton
Available for applications requiring FKM chemical resistance, including many compatible oils and industrial process fluids.
Always select the seal material according to the controlled media, concentration and operating conditions.
How the Solenoid Plunger Works
The plunger is the moving magnetic component inside the solenoid armature tube.
When the solenoid coil is energised, the magnetic field moves the stainless steel plunger against the return spring, operating the pilot section of the valve.
When electrical power is removed, the SUS304 spring returns the plunger to its normal position, allowing the normally closed valve to return to its de-energised state.
The replaceable EPDM or FKM/Viton seal provides the sealing surface at the end of the plunger.
Plunger Assembly or Complete Armature Assembly?
This product is the replacement plunger, seal and spring only.
It is the appropriate option when the existing stainless steel core tube and associated armature components remain in serviceable condition.
If the core tube, O-rings, coil retaining nut or other operator components also require replacement, use the complete Kuhnway Queen MD armature and core tube assembly instead.
