Description
High Pressure Stainless Steel Solenoid Valve 0.5–20 Bar – SAS
The CS Fluid Power SAS Series is a heavy-duty 2/2 way normally closed stainless steel solenoid valve designed for high-pressure air, water, steam and industrial fluid control applications.
Manufactured with a 316 stainless steel valve body, stainless steel internals and PTFE seals, the SAS combines excellent corrosion resistance with pressure-assisted operation and high flow capacity. Available from 3/8" to 2" BSP, the range is rated up to 20 Bar for air and water and up to 12 Bar for steam.
The servo-assisted piston design requires a minimum 0.5 Bar differential pressure and provides large flow capacities up to 686.4 L/min, making the SAS particularly suitable for high-pressure process systems where a compact direct-acting valve would provide insufficient flow.

Why Choose the SAS Series?
The SAS combines a 316 stainless steel body, PTFE seals, large internal flow paths and pressure-assisted operation for demanding industrial applications.
Unlike a zero-pressure direct-acting valve, the SAS uses system pressure to assist operation and therefore requires a minimum 0.5 Bar differential. This allows substantially larger orifices and flow rates, reaching 50mm and 686.4 L/min on the 2" SAS50 while maintaining an air and water pressure capability of up to 20 Bar.
For steam applications, the range provides a particularly useful combination of stainless steel construction, PTFE sealing, temperatures up to +180°C and pressures up to 12 Bar.
