The Nass Magnet System 8/22 ATEX Ex m solenoid coil is designed for hazardous gas and combustible dust environments where encapsulated explosion protection is required. Compatible with Nass Magnet System 8/22 valve and armature assemblies, the compact 22mm coil provides reliable operation in Zone 1 gas and Zone 21 dust hazardous areas.
Manufactured with a robust thermoplastic encapsulated housing and fitted with a 3 metre factory moulded cable, the coil offers IP65 protection and 100% continuous duty operation for demanding industrial process applications. It is certified to both ATEX and IECEx standards for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. The operating instructions identify the protection marking as Ex mb IIC T4 Gb for gas and Ex mb tb IIIC T130°C Db for dust, with IP65 enclosure protection.
