Nass Magnet ATEX Ex ia & Ex tb Solenoid Operator Type 1262
The Nass Magnet Type 1262 intrinsically safe solenoid operator is designed for hazardous gas and combustible dust environments where ATEX and IECEx certified equipment is required. Compatible with Nass Magnet System 8 valve and armature assemblies, the Type 1262 combines Ex ia intrinsic safety for gas atmospheres with Ex tb protection for dust hazardous areas in one compact operator.
Manufactured with a robust thermoset resin encapsulated housing and DIN A electrical connection, the Type 1262 provides reliable 24V DC operation with low 1.6W power consumption and 100% continuous duty rating for demanding industrial process applications.

Installation
The Type 1262 is designed exclusively for use with compatible Nass Magnet valve and armature assemblies. Installation is permitted in any orientation, although mounting with the solenoid coil facing upwards is recommended. For dust hazardous areas, only the supplied plug connector should be used, and installation must comply with IEC/EN 60079-14. The operator must always be powered via a certified intrinsically safe barrier or isolator.
