6–22mm Refrigerant Solder Tube Solenoid Valve – RSG 216-DN12-LR
The RSG 216-DN12-LR is a 2/2 way refrigerant solenoid valve with integral copper solder tubes, designed for direct installation into refrigeration, heat pump and cooling-system pipework.
With tube connections from 6mm to 22mm and 1/4" to 7/8", a 12mm flow orifice and operating pressure from 0.05 to 30 Bar, the DN12-LR provides a versatile solution for a wide range of refrigerant line sizes.
Normally closed operation is standard, with a normally open version available.

The copper tubes are furnace soldered into the brass valve body using silver solder at approximately 680–700°C, creating a robust factory joint between the copper connection tube and valve body.
The extended copper connections allow the valve to be installed directly into refrigeration pipework without separate threaded adaptors.

The actual Kv depends upon the selected tube connection and is based on water with a pressure differential of 1 Bar.
With connections available up to 22mm / 7/8" and Kv up to 2.8 m³/h, the DN12-LR covers a particularly useful range of medium-capacity refrigeration applications.

Normally Open Option
The standard 216-DN12-LR is normally closed, shutting off refrigerant flow when electrical power is removed.
A normally open version is available for applications requiring flow in the de-energised state.

Mounting Provision
The valve incorporates M4 mounting holes, allowing it to be independently secured within refrigeration equipment.
