28–42mm Refrigerant Solder Tube Solenoid Valve – RSG 216-DN25-LR
The RSG 216-DN25-LR is a high-flow 2/2 way refrigerant solenoid valve with integral copper solder tubes, designed for larger commercial and industrial refrigeration, heat pump and cooling systems.
Available with 28mm, 35mm, 42mm, 1⅛" or 1⅜" OD copper tube connections, the valve combines an 18mm flow orifice with a Kv up to 13 m³/h and an operating pressure range of 0.5 to 30 Bar.
Normally closed operation is standard, with a normally open version available.

The pressure-assisted piston design provides high refrigerant flow through the 18mm orifice while retaining relatively low solenoid power consumption.

The copper tubes are furnace soldered into the brass valve body using silver solder at approximately 680–700°C.
This provides a robust factory-manufactured connection between the brass valve body and copper tube, ready for integration into refrigeration pipework.

Kv Flow Factor: 12 or 13 m³/h
The actual flow capacity depends upon the selected tube connection.
Kv is based on water with a pressure differential of 1 Bar.
With flow capacity up to 13 m³/h, the DN25-LR is designed for substantially larger refrigerant lines than the DN5, DN12 and DN18 versions in the 216 range.

Normally Open Option
The standard RSG 216-DN25-LR is normally closed, stopping refrigerant flow when electrical power is removed.
A normally open version is available for applications requiring refrigerant flow in the de-energised state.
Mounting Provision
The valve incorporates:

These allow the larger DN25 valve to be independently secured within refrigeration machinery or OEM equipment, helping minimise mechanical loading on the copper tube connections and associated pipework.
