1/4" 3/2 Universal Brass Solenoid Valve – ERA SIB 306380
The ERA SIB 306380 is a compact 1/4" 3/2 way universal direct-acting brass solenoid valve designed for compressed air, inert gases and compatible industrial gas applications at pressures from 0 to 10 Bar.
Its universal 3-port, 2-position construction allows the same valve to be piped for normally closed, normally open or diverting operation. Direct-acting operation requires no minimum pressure differential, providing reliable switching from zero pressure through to the maximum rated pressure.
Featuring a 6mm orifice, 5 L/min water-equivalent flow, robust brass body and stainless steel internals, the 306380 provides useful flow capacity in a compact 3-way industrial solenoid valve.

The three ports can be connected to provide several operating functions:

This universal configuration provides greater flexibility than a dedicated normally closed or normally open valve and is particularly useful for pneumatic control, gas switching and OEM applications.
Direct Acting – Zero Pressure Operation
The ERA SIB 306380 is direct acting, meaning operation does not depend upon inlet pressure or a minimum pressure differential.
Pressure range: 0 to 10 Bar
This allows reliable operation even when system pressure falls to zero during start-up, shutdown or normal machine operation.
The valve is not specified for vacuum service.

The 5 L/min figure is based on water with a 1 Bar pressure drop and should therefore be described as a water flow figure rather than conventional Kv in m³/h.

Media suitability should always be confirmed against the brass body, stainless steel internals and selected seal material.
Water Applications
The 306380 can be used with compatible water applications; however, the piston should be greased regularly when used with water to help prevent sticking or blockage.
For continuous water duty, a valve specifically designed for water service may be preferable.

Universal 3/2 Valve Design
The major advantage of the ERA SIB 306380 is its universal 3/2 configuration.
Rather than requiring separate normally closed and normally open models, the valve can be piped to provide the required NC, NO or diverting function.
Combined with direct-acting zero-pressure operation, a relatively large 6mm orifice and compact brass construction, this makes the 306380 a versatile industrial 3-way control valve.
