1/2" PVC Chemical Solenoid Valve 0–0.7 Bar – GEM SOL C4012
The GEM SOL C4012 is a 1/2" PVC chemical solenoid valve designed for low-pressure control of acids, alkalis, detergents, bleach, water-treatment chemicals and other compatible aggressive fluids.
The valve uses a 2/2 way normally closed, direct-acting dry-armature design with an isolating diaphragm, helping separate the controlled chemical media from the solenoid mechanism. Manufacturer data confirms an 8mm orifice, 19 L/min water flow and operation from 0 to 0.7 Bar.

Seal selection is important with chemical media. Neither FKM nor EPDM should be treated as universally suitable for every acid, alkali or chemical concentration.
The exact chemical, concentration and operating temperature should therefore be considered when selecting the valve and seal material.

The manufacturer specifically identifies acid, detergent and bleach service and limits media viscosity to 50 cSt maximum.
For KNO3 potassium nitrate and other specific chemicals, compatibility should be confirmed against the selected PVC, stainless steel and FKM/EPDM materials, taking concentration and temperature into account.
