1¼" WRAS Water Solenoid Valve 0.5–10 Bar – ASCO Sirai L182D48
The ASCO Sirai L182D48-11/4 is a 1¼" BSP WRAS approved brass solenoid valve designed for higher-flow potable water, commercial water services, water treatment and industrial water-control applications.
As the smallest model in the larger L182D-BIG Series, this 2/2 way normally closed, pressure-assisted diaphragm valve combines a 30mm orifice with a Kv flow factor of 15 m³/h. It operates from 0.5 to 10 Bar differential pressure, providing a substantial step up in flow capacity from the standard L182 range.

The full-orifice pilot-operated diaphragm construction allows the large 30mm flow path to be controlled using a relatively compact solenoid operator.
A minimum 0.5 Bar differential pressure between the inlet and outlet is required for reliable operation.

This is an important difference from the smaller standard L182 EPDM valves, which can offer higher media-temperature capability. The L182D-BIG should therefore be specified to its +85°C maximum media temperature.
