3/4" WRAS Water Solenoid Valve 0.35–12 Bar – ASCO Sirai L182D01

The ASCO Sirai L182D01-34 is a 3/4" BSP WRAS approved brass solenoid valve designed for potable water, hot water services, water treatment and industrial water-control applications.

This 2/2 way normally closed, pressure-assisted diaphragm valve combines an 18mm orifice, Kv flow factor of 5.0 m³/h and operating differential pressure range of 0.35 to 12 Bar. The EPDM version uses WRAS certified sealing material and is suitable for water temperatures up to +140°C.

The pilot-operated diaphragm construction provides a large flow path while maintaining relatively low electrical power consumption. A minimum 0.35 Bar differential pressure is required for reliable operation.

The larger 18mm orifice provides a substantial increase in flow capacity compared with the smaller 3/8" and 1/2" L182 valves, making this version particularly useful for commercial and industrial water systems requiring higher throughput.

For liquids other than water, compatibility with the brass, stainless steel and EPDM wetted materials should be confirmed. The manufacturer specifies the L182 for compatible liquid and gaseous media subject to material compatibility.

The high-temperature EPDM configuration makes the 3/4" L182 particularly useful for hot-water and commercial heating applications where many conventional potable-water solenoid valves have significantly lower temperature limits.

Closing Time: 500ms

The controlled 500ms closing time provides progressive shut-off of the main diaphragm rather than an extremely abrupt interruption of the water flow.

These response times are specified specifically for the 3/4" version.

The L182 can be installed in any mounting position, although installation with the solenoid coil vertically upwards is preferred.
