1" WRAS Water Solenoid Valve 0.35–12 Bar – ASCO Sirai L182D01
The ASCO Sirai L182D01-1 is a 1" BSP WRAS approved brass solenoid valve designed for high-flow potable water, hot water, water treatment and industrial water-control applications.
As the largest screwed connection in the standard L182 range, this 2/2 way normally closed, pressure-assisted diaphragm valve combines a large 24mm orifice with an excellent Kv of 12 m³/h. It operates across a 0.35 to 12 Bar differential pressure range, making it particularly suitable for commercial plant and larger water systems requiring high flow without moving to the L182D-BIG range.

The pilot-operated diaphragm construction allows the large 24mm main orifice to be controlled with relatively low solenoid power.
A minimum 0.35 Bar pressure differential is required across the valve for reliable operation.

The 1" version provides the highest flow capacity within the standard 3/8"–1" screwed L182 family.
Its Kv of 12 m³/h represents a substantial increase over the 5 m³/h 3/4" version, making valve sizing particularly important where maximum water flow and minimum pressure loss are priorities.

Why Choose the 1" L182D01?
The major advantage of the 1" L182D01 is flow capacity.
Its 24mm orifice and Kv of 12 m³/h provide more than twice the Kv of the 3/4" L182, making it an excellent choice where high water throughput is required without moving to a larger 1¼" or 1½" valve.
At the same time, it retains the important characteristics of the smaller L182 models: WRAS approved EPDM seals, only 0.35 Bar minimum differential pressure, hot-water capability up to +140°C and continuous-duty operation.
For larger 1¼" to 2" pipework, the L182D-BIG range provides the next step in flow capacity.
