5/3 Double Solenoid Valves
5/3 way double solenoid valves are designed for pneumatic directional control where a defined centre (neutral) position is required. Unlike 5/2 valves, a 5/3 valve returns to a specified centre state when neither solenoid is energised, allowing improved machine safety and more precise actuator control. Available with centre closed, centre exhaust or centre pressure spool configurations, these valves are widely used for double-acting pneumatic cylinders, industrial automation, packaging machinery, material handling equipment and OEM machine building. Our range includes compact manifold-mounted valves and stainless steel models with multiple voltage options including 12VDC, 24VDC, 24VAC, 110VAC and 230VAC. These valves allow cylinders to extend, retract, or stop in a mid-position, making them ideal for controlled motion applications.
