The AM530-01D is a compact 5/3 way double solenoid pneumatic valve designed for reliable directional control of double-acting pneumatic cylinders and air actuators. Combining a durable anodised aluminium body with an efficient internal pilot design, it provides dependable operation, low power consumption and long service life for industrial automation, OEM machinery and pneumatic control systems.
Available with pressure centre (Y) or exhaust centre (X) spool configurations, the AM530 Series offers precise control where cylinder stopping, holding or controlled exhaust is required. Double Solenoid Operation
The AM530-01D uses two independently energised solenoids.
Power applied to one coil shifts the valve to one operating position.
Power applied to the opposite coil shifts the valve to the alternate position.
When neither solenoid is energised, the valve automatically returns to its centre spool position.
Manual override allows operation during commissioning, maintenance and fault finding.

In the centre position, pressure is supplied to both actuator ports, helping to hold a cylinder in position under load.
Exhaust Centre (X)
In the centre position, both actuator ports are exhausted, allowing the cylinder to move freely or safely depressurise.
