Brass 2/2 Normally Open - Pressure Assisted
Brass 2/2 normally open pilot assisted solenoid valves (pressure assisted) remain open when de-energised and close when power is applied. These valves use system pressure to operate and require a minimum pressure differential between inlet and outlet to function correctly. Pilot assisted solenoid valves are ideal for higher flow applications where direct acting valves are not suitable. The normally open (fail-safe open) design ensures continuous flow during power loss, making them suitable for safety-critical and process systems. Key Features: Normally open (fail safe open) operation Pilot assisted / pressure assisted design Suitable for higher flow rates Requires minimum pressure differential (typically ~0.3–0.5 bar) Brass valve bodies with BSP threaded connections Available in multiple voltages Typical Applications: High flow water and fluid systems Process control systems Industrial automation Cooling and circulation systems Important: Pilot assisted valves will not operate at zero pressure. For vacuum or low pressure systems, use direct acting (zero rated) normally open solenoid valves. For low pressure or vacuum applications, view our direct acting normally open solenoid valves.
