Full Open Silent Non-Return (Check) Valve – Z-Tide Industrial CHF Series
The Z-Tide Industrial CHF Series is a premium full open silent non-return (check) valve designed to prevent reverse flow while eliminating water hammer in high-flow water and process systems. Featuring a spring-assisted cantilever-mounted plug with patented full-flow design, the CHF Series closes rapidly before reverse flow develops, protecting pumps, pipelines and equipment from hydraulic shock and mechanical damage. Available in ductile iron or 304 stainless steel with PN16 flanges from DN50 to DN200, these valves are ideal for pump discharge lines, water distribution networks and demanding industrial process systems.

Its patented full open flow design allows water to pass through the valve with minimal restriction, reducing pressure loss and improving hydraulic efficiency. The spring-assisted cantilever-mounted plug closes rapidly before reverse flow accelerates, significantly reducing hydraulic shock, pump damage and pipeline noise. The unique NBR U-ring sealing system provides dependable sealing across both low and high pressure conditions, while the robust internal construction delivers long service life with minimal maintenance.
Installation recommendations
Install the CHF Series immediately downstream of pumps or wherever reverse flow protection is required. The silent closing mechanism is particularly effective on pump discharge lines where conventional swing check valves may generate water hammer during pump shutdown. Both horizontal and vertical installation are acceptable. For sizes above DN150, the bypass valve is omitted as standard.
