Description
Z-Tide BF Series Valve Seal Kits, Controller Gaskets & Piston Kits
Replacement gaskets, piston assemblies and NBR or FKM/Viton seal kits for Z-Tide BF Series pilot-operated control valves.
These service components fit the Z-Tide BFE electric solenoid, BFR pressure reducing, BFS pressure sustaining, BFL pressure limiting/relief and BFF float control valve ranges.
Options extend from the simple external pilot controller gasket through to complete valve seal sets containing the piston U-ring, O-rings and main seat seal.
Suitable for Z-Tide BF Series valves with cast iron, ductile iron and stainless steel bodies, covering standard valve sizes from DN50 to DN200. Larger DN250 to DN1000 valve repair kits are available on request.
Compatible Z-Tide BF Valve Series
The repair components are suitable for the main Z-Tide BF Series pilot-operated control valves:
BFE – Electric Solenoid Control Valve
Pilot-operated electrically controlled valve using a solenoid pilot for opening and closing the main valve.
BFR – Pressure Reducing Valve
Pilot-controlled pressure reducing valve designed to regulate and maintain the required downstream pressure.
BFS – Pressure Sustaining Valve
Pilot-controlled pressure sustaining valve used to maintain the required upstream pressure.
BFL – Pressure Limiting / Relief Valve
Pilot-operated pressure relief valve used to limit system pressure.
BFF – Float Control Valve
Pilot-operated float valve for automatic tank and reservoir level control.
Repair Kit Options

External pilot controller NBR gasket.
Fits all BF Series valve types and sizes covered by this range.
Ideal where only the controller-to-valve sealing gasket requires replacement.
KITBF-Gasket-PIN-Bolts – Controller Mounting Kit

NBR – Nitrile Rubber
General-purpose elastomer suitable for many compatible water, air and industrial fluid applications.
FKM / Viton
Available for applications requiring increased temperature or chemical resistance compared with standard NBR.
Seal material should always be selected according to the actual controlled media, operating temperature and chemical compatibility.
Valve Body Compatibility

How the BF Valve Sealing System Works
The Z-Tide BF Series uses a pilot-controlled main piston arrangement.
The external controller or pilot controls pressure acting on the main valve mechanism, while the internal piston seals provide the primary sealing and pressure-control functions within the valve.
The main service components therefore include the controller gasket, piston U-ring, piston main seal, cylinder O-rings and associated sealing components.
Wear or damage to these components can affect the main valve's ability to open, close, regulate pressure or seal correctly.
Selecting the Correct Repair Kit
When ordering, identify:
Valve Series: BFE, BFR, BFS, BFL or BFF
Valve Size: DN50 to DN200 as standard
Required Parts: Controller gasket, mounting kit, piston kit or full seal kit
Seal Material: NBR or FKM/Viton where applicable
