Description

Flanged Stainless Steel NO Solenoid Valve PN40 RSG 860B


The RSG 860B is a heavy-duty 2/2 way normally open direct acting piston solenoid valve with a 1.4305 stainless steel body and PN40 flanged connections.

In its normal de-energised state the valve remains open, automatically closing when electrical power is applied. This makes the 860B particularly suitable for applications requiring unrestricted flow during normal operation or where a normally open valve function is required.

The direct acting piston construction operates without requiring a minimum pressure differential, allowing reliable operation from 0 Bar and making the valve suitable for low-pressure and vacuum applications.

Available from DN15 to DN50, the 860B combines high flow capacity up to Kv 46 m³/h with working pressures up to 25 Bar depending upon valve size.

The stainless steel construction provides improved corrosion resistance for demanding industrial process applications, with stainless steel internals and a choice of EPDM or FKM seals according to the process media and operating temperature.
Suitable for air, water, oils, vacuum and compatible liquids and gases.

The general 860 specification lists NBR, EPDM and FKM, all with their respective temperature limits. However, RSG's specific stainless-steel ordering tables list the stainless variants with EPDM or FKM, so I'd use those two for this body-specific ecommerce product.
