1/8" Miniature Stainless Steel Solenoid Valve – HA


The HA Series is a compact 1/8" stainless steel solenoid valve designed for precise control of air, water, light oils, vacuum and compatible fluids in low-flow industrial and OEM applications.

Featuring direct-acting, zero differential pressure operation, the valve operates reliably from 0 Bar, making it suitable for gravity-fed systems, vacuum applications and low-pressure circuits where conventional pilot-operated solenoid valves may not function correctly.

With a compact 304 stainless steel body, stainless steel internals and a low-power 4.8W Nass Magnet solenoid operator, the HA provides a practical solution for instrumentation, laboratory equipment, compact machinery and space-restricted fluid-control systems.

Valve Function & Operation

Function: 2/2 way normally closed
Operation: Direct acting
The HA is closed when electrically de-energised. Applying power to the solenoid lifts the internal sealing element directly from the valve seat, allowing media to flow through the valve.
Because the HA is direct acting, it requires no minimum pressure differential and can operate from 0 Bar.
This makes it particularly useful for low-pressure, gravity-fed and vacuum applications as well as conventional pressurised systems.

Ports & Connections

Standard connection: 1/8" BSPT
Optional connection: 1/8" NPT
Its miniature body and 1/8" connection make the HA particularly suitable where installation space is restricted.

Orifice & Flow

Two orifice configurations are available:
1.6mm → 1.43 L/min water flow
2.4mm → 3.0 L/min water flow
Flow figures are based on water with a 1 Bar pressure differential.
The larger 2.4mm orifice provides increased flow, while the smaller 1.6mm configuration can provide increased pressure capability depending on coil voltage.

Pressure Range

Operating pressure: 0 to 15 Bar
Maximum operating pressure depends on the selected orifice size, coil voltage and electrical configuration.
Because the valve is direct acting, operation does not depend upon upstream pressure to assist opening.

Media suitability should be checked against the selected 304 stainless steel body and elastomer seal material for applications involving aggressive chemicals or specialist gases.

The HA uses a compact Nass Magnet solenoid operator designed for low-power continuous-duty operation.

An optional explosion-protected solenoid operator is available for hazardous-area applications.

Maximum valve pressure is reduced by approximately 50% when fitted with the ATEX operator, so the required operating pressure should be confirmed when ordering.

Compact Direct Acting Solenoid Valve

The HA is particularly useful where a conventional industrial solenoid valve is physically too large or consumes unnecessary electrical power.
Its combination of a miniature stainless steel body, zero differential operation and 4.8W continuous-duty coil provides reliable fluid control in compact equipment while retaining the durability expected from an industrial solenoid valve.
The choice of 1.6mm or 2.4mm orifices also allows pressure capability and flow performance to be matched more closely to the application.

Absolutely excellent - was looking for a small compact or miniature stainless steel solenoid valve for my slushy machine for refrigerant gas. This little 1/8 valve was ideal and with a choice of Viton, NBR or EPDM seals at no extra cost and all for only £33.16 + £7.95 next day delivery.
