Anti Water Hammer Surge Arrestor – Bronze & Stainless Steel AIT / APT Series
The AIT and APT Series are premium anti water hammer surge arrestors designed to absorb hydraulic shock waves and protect water pipework, pumps, valves and associated equipment from damaging pressure surges. Using a pre-charged diaphragm air cushion, the arrestor rapidly absorbs pressure spikes caused by sudden valve closure, pump stopping or changes in water flow, significantly reducing water hammer, pipe vibration and system noise. Available in bronze and 304 stainless steel with threaded BSP connections from ½" to 4", these units provide reliable long-term protection for industrial, commercial and municipal water systems.

Manufactured using heavy-duty bronze or 304 stainless steel bodies with a pre-charged diaphragm air chamber, the AIT and APT Series have been engineered to provide reliable long-term protection against water hammer and hydraulic shock. The diaphragm separates the compressed air cushion from the water supply, maintaining consistent performance without gradual air absorption into the pipeline. Adjustable pre-charge pressure via the integrated Schrader valve allows the arrestor to be matched to individual system requirements, while the robust construction provides dependable protection for pumps, valves and pipework operating under demanding industrial conditions.
