3" Water Irrigation Solenoid Valve 0.65–10 Bar – PN22528A
The PN22528A is a heavy-duty 3" BSP normally closed irrigation solenoid valve designed for high-flow water control in agricultural irrigation, sprinkler, landscaping, greenhouse and underground water systems.
Its pressure-assisted diaphragm design combines a large 80mm orifice with a Kv flow factor of 1503 L/min, providing very high water flow through 3" pipework while operating at differential pressures from 0.65 to 10 Bar.
Manufactured from glass-reinforced, UV-resistant PA66 with stainless steel internal components, the PN22528A is particularly suited to outdoor and irrigation installations where corrosion resistance, weather resistance and dependable operation are required.

The reinforced PA66 construction provides a lightweight alternative to large metal-bodied valves while offering excellent corrosion and UV resistance for outdoor water applications.
Manual Override
The PN22528A incorporates a manual override, allowing the valve to be operated manually when required without electrically energising the solenoid.
This is particularly useful during irrigation system commissioning, maintenance, testing and emergency operation.
External Bleed & Cleaning
An external bleed arrangement provides convenient manual pressure control and assists with servicing.
The removable metering/pilot arrangement allows contamination to be cleared from the pilot system without requiring complete disassembly of the valve.
Anti-Water Hammer Design
The diaphragm valve design provides controlled closing to help minimise hydraulic shock and water hammer in large irrigation pipework.
This is particularly valuable on the 3" PN22528A, where high water flow rates can otherwise generate significant pressure surges when flow is stopped.
