Description
Mechanical Condensate Drain Valve – No-Loss Automatic Float Drain
The ZLDV-12 mechanical condensate drain valve automatically removes condensate from compressed air systems without the need for electricity, timers or solenoid valves.
Using a reliable float-operated mechanism, the valve discharges condensate only when required, eliminating unnecessary compressed air loss while reducing energy consumption and maintenance costs.
Ideal for air compressors, air receivers, refrigerated dryers, filters, aftercoolers and compressed air distribution systems where reliable, automatic condensate removal is essential.

Installation
Install the valve vertically beneath the condensate collection point.
The internal float automatically rises with condensate level and opens the drain valve only when discharge is required.
When the condensate level falls, the valve closes automatically to prevent unnecessary compressed air loss.
Typical Installation Locations
Air compressor receivers
Refrigerated dryers
Air filters
Aftercoolers
Moisture separators
Compressed air pipework
Condensate collection vessels
Why Choose a Mechanical Drain?
Unlike timer-operated drain valves that discharge at fixed intervals, a mechanical float drain only opens when condensate is present.
This prevents unnecessary compressed air loss, reduces energy consumption and ensures condensate is removed only when required, making it an economical solution for many compressed air systems.
