3/8" Brass Automatic Timed Solenoid Valve – PU22003-SVT


The PU22003-SVT is a 3/8" 2/2 way normally closed brass solenoid valve supplied with an adjustable TEC22 electronic repeat-cycle timer for automatic control of air, water and other compatible fluids.

Commonly used in automatic drainage and timed fluid control applications, this valve assembly is also widely used with Kingspan and Klargester BioDisc sewage treatment and septic tank systems, where reliable timed solenoid valve operation is required.

The standard assembly includes the T1-TEC22 analogue timer, adjustable from 0.5–10 seconds ON and 0.5–45 minutes OFF. Alternative TEC22 timing ranges and a fully programmable digital timer are available for applications requiring different operating cycles.

Standard T1-TEC22 Timer

The standard PU22003-SVT assembly is supplied with the T1-TEC22 adjustable analogue repeat-cycle timer.
ON time: 0.5–10 seconds
OFF time: 0.5–45 minutes

The ON and OFF periods can be independently adjusted to provide the required operating cycle.

Alternative TEC22 Timer Ranges

Alternative analogue TEC22 timers are available where the standard 0.5–10 second ON / 0.5–45 minute OFF range is unsuitable.
Available ranges include short pulse, extended OFF period and extended ON period configurations, allowing the same valve assembly to be adapted for condensate drainage, wastewater treatment and other timed control applications.

Optional Programmable Digital Timer

For applications requiring greater control flexibility, the standard TEC22 timer can be replaced with a fully programmable digital timer.

Kingspan & Klargester BioDisc Applications

The PU22003-SVT is commonly used for timed pneumatic and fluid control duties associated with Kingspan and Klargester BioDisc sewage treatment systems.
Its adjustable repeat-cycle timer allows the valve operating period and interval to be matched to the requirements of the installation, while the optional digital timer provides additional flexibility where more specialised operating sequences are required.
Important: When replacing an existing BioDisc timed solenoid valve, check the valve voltage, port connection and existing timer settings before ordering.
