1¼" WRAS Water Solenoid Valve – Danfoss EV220BW


The Danfoss EV220BW 132U3200 is a 1¼" WRAS approved brass water solenoid valve designed for reliable control of potable water in larger commercial and industrial water systems.

This 2/2 way normally closed, pressure-assisted valve combines a large 32mm orifice, Kv 18 m³/h flow capacity and 0.3–16 Bar operating pressure with controlled closing to help reduce pressure surges and water hammer.

Previously supplied as Danfoss 032U7132, the 132U3200 is the corresponding model within the EV220BW potable-water range.

The pressure-assisted diaphragm design requires a minimum 0.3 Bar differential pressure across the valve for reliable operation.

The large 32mm flow path provides substantial capacity for 1¼" pipework, making this model particularly suitable for higher-flow potable and process-water installations.

Anti-Water-Hammer Operation

Closing Time: 2.5 Seconds
The EV220BW incorporates controlled closing to reduce sudden changes in water velocity when the valve shuts.
The 2.5-second closing time is particularly beneficial in larger-bore pipework, helping minimise pressure shock, hydraulic surges and water hammer.

The 1¼" Danfoss EV220BW provides a strong combination of WRAS approval, high flow capacity and 16 Bar pressure capability for larger potable-water installations.
Its 32mm orifice and Kv 18 m³/h provide considerably greater flow capacity than the smaller EV220BW models, while the controlled 2.5-second closing time helps protect larger pipework systems from hydraulic shock.
The 132U3200 supersedes the previous 032U7132 reference, providing a useful cross-reference when replacing valves in existing installations.
