Nass Magnet ATEX Ex ia Intrinsically Safe Solenoid Operator Type 1259
The Nass Magnet Type 1259 Ex ia intrinsically safe solenoid operator is designed for use with compatible Nass Magnet valve and armature assemblies in hazardous gas atmospheres. Certified to both ATEX and IECEx standards, the compact System 8 operator provides safe operation within Zone 1 explosive environments when connected via a certified intrinsically safe barrier or isolating amplifier.
Manufactured with a thermoset resin encapsulated housing and DIN A electrical connection, the Type 1259 offers 100% continuous duty operation with low power consumption, making it ideal for hazardous process control applications where intrinsic safety is required.

Installation
The Type 1259 is designed exclusively for use with compatible Nass Magnet valve systems or armature assemblies. It may be mounted in any orientation, although installation with the solenoid coil facing upwards is recommended. Installation must comply with IEC/EN 60079-14 and the equipment must always be supplied from a certified intrinsically safe source.
