1/2" WRAS Water Solenoid Valve – Danfoss EV220B


The Danfoss EV220B is a high-quality 1/2" WRAS approved brass water solenoid valve designed for reliable control of potable water in domestic, commercial and industrial installations.

This 2/2 way normally closed, servo-assisted valve combines a large 15mm orifice, Kv 4.0 m³/h flow capacity and 0.3–16 Bar operating range with controlled closing to help reduce pressure shock and water hammer.

The EV220B is designed with fast opening and controlled closing, helping reduce hydraulic shock when shutting off flowing water.
The anti-water-hammer design is particularly beneficial in mains-water systems, long pipe runs and installations where rapid valve closure could otherwise generate pressure surges.
